New Tokyo Decadence: The Slave ignites beautiful pink scenes with stunning portrayals of S&M and slavery. The cinematography is extremely well-executed, reportedly based on the real-life experiences of the highly credible female lead, Rinako Hirasawa. We follow Rinako from her days at the office, becoming her boss’s slave, and eventually performing S&M with him in his club.

Personally, I think this would have been even more effective if we had started with the club scenes and gradually moved toward reality. In New Tokyo Decadence: The Slave, it’s a bit disappointing to see the sex scenes ‘acted out’ after witnessing them ‘for real,’ but this is a minor issue considering the sensual and bold nature of the action. Outstanding performances from the lead actors, combined with excellent direction, help make this film a contender for one of the best in the adult genre.
