Comfort Women

Tomi Akiyama and her boyfriend Nakamura are troubled by allegations of involvement in a “Consolation House” in China. Tomi initially infiltrates the camp as a journalist, but is later arrested and taken in as a participant. Nakamura is so angry about the event and the general situation that he takes action. The progress of several other characters is also followed, including a rather happy prostitute, a cheerful and plump Japanese woman, and a brutal, rude general. The film is also interspersed with war footage and historical titles.
