1996 Mulberry

1996 Mulberry is one of the first 18+ historical films in Korean cinema, it was invested quite elaborately with a strong cast. Sam Bo is a hopeless gambler who loses more than he wins. His wife Hyun Jip takes care of the house and brings home the money. Her striking beauty and charm make her much admired in the area, who are willing to provide her with anything she desires. The women of the area are furious when they realize their husbands are contributing to Hyun Jip’s fund in exchange for her services. They try to drive her out of the village, but to no avail. Sam Dol, a local farm worker, is known for his sexual prowess and his latest target is Hyun Jip. But when she continues to reject him, he takes revenge on her by telling her husband what she has done.
